Communication:

  • All conversations between the client and therapist are kept confidential. It is our goal to create an environment where our clients feel free to express anything that needs to change for them to have a wonderful massage experience. Honest and open communication between client and therapist is paramount, as this is the only way we can know how to honor and meet our client’s needs.  It is the client’s responsibility to inform therapists when they are uncomfortable so that they may make adjustments. i.e.: temperature, depth, area of body being addressed, music, and topic of conversation.

Code of Ethics:

  • Therapist will maintain the AMTA Code of Ethics at all times. Learn more.

Philosophy:

  • Any advice given is only advice and is not to be considered a medical diagnosis. We make no claims to heal anyone. We believe we act as a facilitator with the client and the client’s body to promote a change in a positive way.

Professionalism:

  • Massage sessions are strictly professional and non-sexual. Any client who demonstrates inappropriate behavior or initiates inappropriate conversations will have their session terminated immediately, will not be refunded and no longer able to receive massage from the therapist

Privacy:

  • Local Revival and our therapists will honor your privacy at all times, ensuring the room is private and the drape covers every area besides what is being worked on. Clients are free to disrobe to their comfort level. Do not hesitate to ask any questions or concerns you may have.

Minors:

  • Clients under the age of 18 must have a form of consent from a parent or legal guardian

Policy Agreement:

  • Clients will complete a background information form and sign an office policy agreement before any treatment is given to ensure the relationship between the therapist and client is kept healthy and professional
